It may be a Monday night, but this concert is worth coming out for! Singers - Pianists - Musicians! If you haven’t been able to attend a Jazzway concert – especially because of the price tag, here is an opportunity to experience an extraordinary event at Jazzway at a discounted price! These artists will not be performing anywhere else in the Baltimore-DC area for the remainder of this year, except at Jazzway.

This a rare opportunity for Jazzway to present two of the most innovative musicians performing jazz today. JD Walter is a jazz singer’s singer - a purist and innovator. His style has been compared to many vocal titans, but it is uniquely his own and he has become a singular phenomenon on the music scene. (And he is reported to be Kurt Elling’s favorite singer!) Orrin Evans has been recognized as one of the most distinctive and inventive pianists of his generation and has earned the titles of pianist, composer, bandleader, teacher, producer and arranger. He is a two-time Grammy nominee, Pew Fellow, leader of the Captain Black Big Band and soon to be pianist with the wildly popular group, BadPlus. They will be joined by Baltimore favorite and fiercely dynamic bassist, Kris Funn and Philly based drummer, Byron Landham who is on the faculty of Temple University. The tickets for this performance will be sold at a discount. No dessert tonight but tickets are less expensive and there will be free snacks and soft drinks plus adult beverages available for a small fee....
