Officially an “autistic savant” whose musical genius was recognized by Dave Brubeck when he was eight years old, Matt has grown into a high-functioning adult who received his Master’s degree from the Manhattan School of Music in 2015. A pianist and composer of the highest rank, Matt has already headlined at the New Orleans and Ottawa Jazz Festivals, as well as the Kennedy Center and legendary NYC clubs Birdland, Jazz Standard, The Blue Note, and Iridium. Any Jazz musician would love to have his resume of radio and TV appearances: NPR’s All Things Considered and Piano Jazz with Marian McPartland, the Today Show, Late Night with Conan O’Brien, and the Late Show with David Letterman....
